On behalf of everyone at The Stanley Arms - Wesham, I would like to thank you all at Longridge Golf Club for making our Annual Charity Golf Day a huge success.

The hospitality we received was second to none and the food magnificent. 

The course was in immaculate condition and played superbly well.

Our winner was a young man called Kieran Leaman who at only sixteen years of age played off a handicap mark of nineteen, and carded a stableford score of thirty eight points so he was more than happy with the day.

Would you please pass on our gratitude to all of your staff and I would like to thank you personally for helping me organise this enjoyable and ultimately successful event throughout. It is greatly appreciated, thank you.

On the day we managed to raise more than two hundred pounds for The New Start Transplant Charity at Wythenshawe Hospital, a brilliant effort from everyone I'm sure you would agree.

Longridge Golf Club - Summer Camp (September 2013)

I'd just like to say that the activities provided by the Golf Club throughout the summer holidays for the juniors have been brilliant.  Liam has really enjoyed his golf this year, the camps etc have been great.  He's also enjoyed teaming up with Robert and spending time on the course.

Just like to give a big thank you to everybody at Longridge for making it a great day on Wednesday.The course was good and the food was a credit to your catering staff.We were made most welcome from the minute we arrived to the minute we left,and of course the sunny weather made our day perfect.

everyone I have spoken to who took part all said what a good day it was and I will certainly pass on your details to anyone who is looking to organise a golfing day in the near future.

Ulverston Golf Club Mystery Tour June 2012

Dear All,

                On behalf of Captain Nigel and all the lads I wish to thank everyone at Longridge for making us so welcome. You even laid on a dry day for us which, given the present state of the weather, was a real bonus. We all enjoyed the course, even those who did not score so well, and would ask you to pass on our congratulations to your green staff for presenting the course in such a great condition.

                A special thanks to your team of caterers who did a wonderful job looking after 48 hungry and thirsty players and one rather large coach driver. The meal was excellent and everything ran like clockwork, nothing was too much trouble and the “service with a smile” was much appreciated.

                I would be remiss not to thank the “backroom staff” of the office and shop who made all the arrangements so that the day went without a hitch, allowing us all to enjoy a great day of golf and fellowship; thank you very much.
