Open Texas Scramble. Teams of 4 made up of any combination of Men and Ladies. Rules

A minimum of 4 drives must be used from each player - see below for stroke allowance adjustment. Please ensure the ball position selected for play is marked within 6 inches - this must be played 'as it lies' with the remaining team members DROPPING their ball as near as possible to the mark with out being nearer the hole. Texas Scramble - The formula for a 4-player team scramble allowance is 25%/20%/15%/10% from lowest to highest Course Handicap. Example Johns course handicap is 2, his handicap allowance is 25% so his stroke contribution is 0.5, Alex's course handicap is 12, his handicap allowance is 20% so his stroke contribution is 2.4. Antonio's course handicap is 26, his handicap allowance is 15% so his stroke contribution is 3.9. Archie's course handicap is 42, his handicap allowance is 10% so his stoke contribution is 4.2. Add up all the stroke contributions to get Total Playing Handicap (rounded to Integer) which is 11. Team Captain is to enter the score using the App or the touchscreen. The app or computer will work it all out!
