Men: Morris Trophy Rd 1 Rules

<p>The Morris Trophy is a scratch competition held over 36 holes on 2 days - Day 1 will be 28th June and Day 2 on 5th July, unless there is a weather related postponement. Minimum entry qualification 5 qualifying competitions must have been played at Longridge within the past 12 months or a new members previous golf club. Net of handicap prizes will be awarded for each day. Maximum playing handicap 28. Handicap allowance 95% of course handicap. Entry fee &pound;10.00 - &pound;5 each day. The best 9 gross scores AND TIES will form a leading group to play at nominated times on Day 2. Failure to play at nominated times will result in the player becoming ineligible for overall prizes. Juniors with a handicap of 20 or less may compete - two adult members must be in their group. Any Junior with a single figure handicap may enter and win the Morris Trophy. No two Juniors may play in the same group.&nbsp;<span>&nbsp;Members who fall short of the qualifying status can enter competitions and be eligible for Division prizes. Members without a handicap may enter a competition FOC to have a card marked and submitted for handicap award. It is a condition of entry and a rule of handicapping that all scores and cards must be returned. Repeated failure to return scores will result in a suspension from entering Swindle Competitions and may also result in a handicap index suspension.</span></p>
